Field Days at Stonewall Apiary
Join us on the second Saturday of each month, April through October, for a hands-on session in the bee yard. Field Days are free to attend and open to all experience levels — whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned beekeeper looking to sharpen your skills, you're welcome here.
Each session is led by one of our beekeeping staff in the Stonewall Apiary home bee yard, giving you the chance to observe and participate in real hive inspections and seasonal beekeeping tasks. Each Field Day focuses on a specific topic — check the session descriptions below to find the dates that interest you most.
Registration is required. Space is limited, so please sign up in advance to reserve your spot.
You must bring your own protective clothing. At minimum, all participants are required to wear a veil that fully covers the face and neck. Additional protection — jacket, gloves, full suit — is strongly recommended, especially for those new to working with bees.
